What is the real bread movement?

Sourdough, this ancient and beautiful bread, has incredible benefits beyond just its delicious tang that affects our gut microbes and restores balance. Our microbiome impacts our mood, immune health, skin health, heart health and so much more. I want to share sourdough with you to empower you to make this amazing and simple tradition in your home. This is real bread!

Enjoy time around the table, discussing and learning all about wild fermented, healing bread. You’ll receive wild sourdough starter, dough for working in class and baking the following morning, and a handout with a simple country loaf recipe. This class goes beyond learning a recipe. You will learn how to use your senses to understand the fermentation process. You will learn about ways to increase the healing benefits of your bread beyond texture and flavor. This will give you the foundation for any recipe within sourdough baking.
